I didn’t need someone to tell me to go to AA meetings and “just don’t drink”. Additionally, they helped me realize that I needed to do this for myself, whereas before I was doing it for everyone else. The outpatient treatment program meant I didn’t need to undergo the time and significant expense in a hospital.”
